1. Information We Do NOT Collect (Zero File Retention)
Zaeyon operates strictly on a client-side execution model. When you use our PDF conversion, image manipulation, background removal, video editing, or spreadsheet utilities, all computational tasks run directly inside your browser using WebAssembly (WASM) and local JavaScript engines.
- Your uploaded files (PDFs, images, videos, spreadsheets, code snippets) are never transmitted to external servers.
- We do not store, view, copy, or index any contents of your documents.
- Once you close or refresh your browser tab, all transient memory used by the application is completely purged.
2. Web Analytics & Security Logs
Like most standard web servers, our hosting infrastructure automatically records basic non-personally identifiable server access logs. This data includes standard information such as:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system and device category
- Referring URL and requested web page path
- Timestamp of request and IP address (anonymized for region-level diagnostics)
This information is used strictly for maintaining server security, performance monitoring, and preventing system abuse.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
Zaeyon utilizes browser localStorage exclusively to save non-sensitive user interface preferences (such as dark/light theme choice or recent tool settings). We do not track your personal identity across external sites.
4. GDPR and CCPA Privacy Rights
Under European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), users have rights to data access, erasure, and privacy protection. Because Zaeyon does not store personal user accounts or file data on servers, we hold no personal data records of your processed files.
